Extrarenal Pyelocalyceal System
The major calyces and renal pelvis lie outside the renal parenchyma. The minor calyces have contact with the renal papilla and parenchyma. The extrarenal collecting system is rare and usually without any clinical significance. Concomitant malformations are typical.
